Exceptional Services Provided By Highly Trained Professionals
Compassionate Care. Evidence-Based Results.
Founded in 2019, Evolutions ABA is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized, and research-driven behavioral services to children and individuals with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our mission is to improve lives by fostering meaningful communication, social engagement, and independence through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
At Evolutions ABA, we believe in creating collaborative partnerships with families. Every treatment plan is developed with the input of caregivers and tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and goals of the individual. Our approach prioritizes safety, dignity, and choice—empowering each client and their family throughout the therapeutic journey.
We don’t just aim to reduce undesired behaviors—we work to build new, positive skills that enhance quality of life and long-term outcomes.”
Our Team & Vision for the Field
We are proud to have a diverse, dedicated team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Behavior-Consultants, Behavior Health Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and clinical professionals committed to excellence, inclusion, and lifelong learning. Our clinicians receive ongoing training and mentorship designed to cultivate not only technical competence but also empathy, cultural responsiveness, and leadership capacity.
We believe in giving back to the field by consulting with other providers, supporting newer professionals, and championing better care practices across the behavioral health landscape
Meet Our Founder
Teresa Gears, M.S. (She/Her/Hers)
Founder, Behavior Analyst, and Advocate
Teresa Gears founded Evolutions ABA with the vision of creating a supportive, person-centered environment where families feel heard, respected, and empowered. She brings nearly two decades of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis across diverse populations and settings.
Teresa earned her Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia in 2005. Her journey into ABA began in an unexpected place—working as a juvenile probation and detention officer—where she witnessed firsthand the power of behavioral interventions to create meaningful change.
Since then, she has served individuals across the lifespan in both Texas and Colorado before returning home to Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of diagnoses, age groups, and service models, including early intervention, school consultation, and community-based care.
In addition to her leadership at Evolutions ABA, Teresa is an adjunct faculty member at Purdue Global University, where she mentors aspiring behavior analysts with a focus on ethical, effective, and socially meaningful practice.
Teresa is a passionate advocate for individualized care, family collaboration, and improving access to high-quality ABA services in her local community and beyond.
